Hiring Process
Education evolves every day. We’re building a team that is ready to address the challenges and opportunities of today while looking ahead to what all students will need many years from now. We offer a growing number of career opportunities in K-12 education.
Our team building process is carefully designed to give you an opportunity to shine as your whole self while also previewing the realities of your future role. Each stage is led by your future manager to provide dialogue around core responsibilities and realistic projects, exploration of shared core values, and multiple opportunities to interact with future team members.
We review your application against role expectations to ensure your professional goals and experience will set you up for success. Candidates who advance participate in a phone conversation with a member of our People Team to learn about the opportunity, share about your values and career interests, and ask any questions you may have about LE.
At this stage, we want to learn more about your approach and give you a chance to complete a brief, realistic task. The hiring manager will review your task with a normed rubric to avoid bias and then determine your next steps.
When invited to move forward, you will participate in an interview with some of your future team members or role-alike peers. Typical components include a role play followed by two-way live feedback, questions about your approach to common scenarios, and reflections on our core values with a particular emphasis on equity.
Congratulations on making it to the final step! Before we create and extend an offer, your future manager may talk to professional references you’ve listed in your application and/or request a final conversation.
