Atlanta

Atlanta Public Schools, a district that serves more than 54,000 students, partnered with Leading Educators from July 2019 to summer 2021 to design and expand supports for excellent and equitable math instruction.

To foster a culture of trust and commitment to growth, math content leaders participated in intensive learning about instructional leadership and internalizing the highly-rated Eureka curriculum. Over the second year, we collaborated with APS to implement weekly opportunities for math teachers to work with the Eureka curriculum, co-plan and practice grade-appropriate lessons, and make adjustments to support diverse learners with the guidance of content leaders in their building.
