About Annette Roskam
Annette Roskam, a seasoned professional with nearly three decades of experience, is dedicated to replacing outdated structures in mathematics education with access and opportunity for every student. This includes creating inviting yet rigorous spaces for students to learn. Annette has a proven track record of fostering communities of educators in which teachers are empowered to refine their instructional practices, grounded in high-quality, job-embedded professional learning and impactful coaching. She has taught students, coached teachers and coaches, served as department chair, designed and facilitated professional learning, and overseen implementation of high-quality curriculum in districts across the country. She is an expert listener, listening for human-facing and organizational-facing challenges and co-developing visions and action plans.
Annette recently completed her doctoral degree in Educational Leadership at Wilmington University, building on her Master of Education in Professional Development and Secondary Mathematics Education degrees. When she’s not supporting educators or continuing her own professional learning, she enjoys time with her family and feline children, reading for pleasure, DIY’ing with her husband, or tending to her flower garden.
She believes that together we can make the world an inviting space for everyone while upholding high expectations.
