
About Daniel Obregon
Daniel Obregon leads partnership, marketing, and communications efforts to grow Leading Educators' reach and support to school systems across the country.
Through more than 20 years of work in education, his leadership has created new paths to innovation and impact for organizations focused on improving access to high-quality education, post-secondary planning, and the future of work. Before joining Leading Educators, he was the Vice President of Marketing and Communications at Jobs for the Future (JFF), where he led national campaigns to promote equitable access to quality jobs and workforce development opportunities, including registered apprenticeships and non-degree pathways.
Previously, he has held pivotal leadership roles in various education technology organizations, including Naviance and the Common App, where he was instrumental in launching several products that today reach more than half of U.S. high school students each year.
Daniel holds a bachelor’s degree in journalism from the University of Maryland and a master’s degree in communications from American University. He lives in Washington D.C. with his wife and three children.
