About Dr. Kendra Thurmond
Dr. Kendra Thurmond is an educator who enjoys transforming mindsets around how math is taught and learned. She supports internal development of Leading Educators programmatic staff to increase students' opportunities to thrive.
Before joining Leading Educators, Dr. Kendra acquired 16 years of teaching and district leadership experience before transitioning to the edTech world via DreamBox Learning.
Dr. Kendra holds an Ed.D. of Professional Leadership in Mathematics Education from the University of Houston. She currently resides in the Houston metroplex with her husband, son, and two fur babies. Dr. Kendra enjoys spending time with her immediate family, going to the movies, and socializing with friends.
