About Katie Murphy
Katie Murphy is a dedicated education strategist and proud mom of three boys. As the Managing Director of Strategy on the Leadership Team, she ensures progress toward annual goals aligned to the strategic plan, coordinates leadership team decision-making, and acts as the primary liaison between the COE and board. Katie also manages Internal Communications and oversees special projects and cross-functional initiatives that may fall outside individual departments.
In her first 6 years at Leading Educators, Katie served as the Managing Director of Networks, supporting teams in Louisiana, Atlanta, Los Angeles, and Chicago. She also successfully launched the System Advising and the Science teams, helping expand the organization's impact.
Katie holds a bachelor's degree and an MBA. When not working, she enjoys reading, supporting her kids' many activities, and swimming.
