About Marvin English
Marvin is a Director of Coaching and Content focusing on school leadership. He serves Michigan-area partners as a mentor, instructor, and coach.
Marvin has served in communities within New York City and Detroit as a school leader. Before joining Leading Educators, Marvin managed instructional programming, curriculum and assessments, teacher and leader coaching, strategic planning, and school level professional learning at Phalen Leadership Academies.
Marvin holds a B.A. in Political Science and Sociology from the University of Michigan. Additionally he holds a M.Ed in Elementary Education from DePaul University and M.A. in Education Leadership and Policy from the University of Michigan. He lives in Detroit, Michigan. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with his son, traveling, playing golf, reading, watching sports, and visiting museums.
