About Ty Despenza
Ty works in technology and operations developing onboarding, systems and technology training, and supporting virtual staff. She manages technology and office vendor relationships across all LE cities and leads strategic processes to meet new and emerging partnership needs with technology innovations.
Before joining Leading Educators, Ty worked with undergraduate and graduate students as a tutor in the Writing Resource Center at Xavier University of Louisiana.
Ty received her B.A. in English from Xavier University of Louisiana in New Orleans, and attended public, private, and charter schools throughout Orleans Parish. As a poet and New Orleans native, her primary influences have been jazz, superstition, and local colloquialisms. Ty now lives in the Lower 9th Ward with her labradors, Parish and DeLille, and takes some promising amateur photographs.
