

About Rebecca Allen
Rebecca is an Instructional Leadership Coach for Math working with the Houston partnership. She is an experienced educator beginning her 25th year serving students and families in public education in the greater Houston area. Rebecca has worked in different capacities within a variety of public education settings. Her experience includes teaching at both the elementary and middle school level, working as an instructional specialist and instructional coach and serving as a Dean and Assistant Principal in a high performing charter network.
As a first-generation college student herself, Rebecca is aware of the challenges students face when the path to college is not smoothly paved. Rebecca’s beliefs are centered around the philosophy that all students deserve a quality education and highly effective teachers make the most important impact on student learning.
When she is not working, Rebecca enjoys spending time with her teenage and young adult children and her husband. Family activities include playing sports, exercising, and shopping. She also enjoys reading and crocheting when time allows.
